DailyAdvancer helps you stay in touch with business relationships. We use your information to provide that service, protect your account, and remember what matters next.

1. Who we are and this policy

Mission Driven Brand ("we," "us," or "our") operates DailyAdvancer at https://dailyadvancer.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to rob@robpene.com.

2. Information we collect

Account and business information. We collect your name, email, phone, company name, website, role, business category, reasons for joining, timezone, business profile and offer details, and preferences.

Relationship information you provide or import. This may include business contacts' names, business phone numbers, business emails, titles, companies, notes you record, follow-ups, and opportunities. Notes may include voice-to-text notes you provide through ChatGPT. You are responsible for having the right to upload and use contact information. DailyAdvancer is for business contact information only.

Referral information. If a user refers someone, we collect that person's name and any phone number or email the user provides. We contact that person only when the referring user checks the permission box, and we tell the person who referred them. A referred person may ask us to delete their information at any time by emailing us.

Public business information. When you choose Research, we may use publicly available business information, such as a company's own website and one About page, to prepare a call brief. We retain links to the sources used.

Messages and service records. We collect Contact Us submissions and operational records needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, secure, and improve DailyAdvancer.
  • Recommend relationships, prepare call briefs, remember notes and follow-ups, and produce reports and insights.
  • Connect calendar time, send account-owner notifications, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. AI processing

We use AI service providers to structure notes, draft call briefs and summaries, and generate insights. These providers process information on our behalf. AI output can be imperfect, and we use safeguards designed to keep output grounded in information available to the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Google Calendar

With your permission, we read calendar free/busy information and your calendar list to find open time. We create and update DailyAdvancer events in the calendar you choose. Calendar access tokens are stored securely on the server. We do not use Google user data to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

DailyAdvancer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google Calendar in Settings or remove access through your Google Account permissions.

6. ChatGPT connection

If you connect DailyAdvancer to ChatGPT, information you ask for is shared with OpenAI's ChatGPT so it can answer your request, under OpenAI's terms. You can revoke the connection in DailyAdvancer Settings → Connected apps or in ChatGPT.

7. Emails

Our email provider sends transactional and notification emails to the account owner, including morning briefings, end-of-day reports, weekly recaps, account notices, and replies to support requests. You can turn briefing and report emails off in Settings.

8. Service providers and disclosures

We use providers for hosting and databases, email delivery, AI models, Google Calendar, and OpenAI when you connect ChatGPT. They process information only to provide their services to us or to you, subject to their terms and safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer where the recipient must honor this policy.

9. Cookies and analytics

DailyAdvancer uses essential cookies and similar session storage needed for sign-in, security, and keeping your session active. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, per-user access controls designed to isolate each user's data, secure server-side token storage, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect information appropriate to its sensitivity.

11. Retention, export, and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request an export or deletion by emailing rob@robpene.com. We will delete requested information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, or necessary to protect the service.

12. California privacy rights

California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion; request correction; and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.

Submit a request to rob@robpene.com. We may verify your identity before completing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

13. Children

DailyAdvancer is for adults using it for business. It is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
